Connolly BCom LLB(Hons.) admitted as a solicitor
of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1990
Michael
comes from a well known local family and
has been involved all his life in family
businesses which have included stud beef
grazing, stock and station agency, a newsagency
and even a hotel in Charleville.
After
completing his commerce degree and law degree
at University of Queensland in Brisbane,
Michael worked for a short time in a large
Brisbane law firm, before moving to Gympie
in 1989 where he became a partner of Neilson
Stanton & Parkinson in 1994.
Michael
practiced for 19 years at his former firm
(and as a principal of that firm for 14
years) before forming Connolly Dore Lawyers.

Benjamin
Dore BA LLB admitted as a solicitor of the
Supreme Court of Queensland in 2003
Ben
is the son of well known Gympie couple Bernard
and Ann Dore, the proprietors
of a long established family business. Ben was born and raised in Gympie.
After
completing his Arts Law degree at Griffith
University Ben commenced work as an Articled
Law Clerk in a large regional law firm in
Mackay in 2001. Ben moved to Gympie in 2006,
and worked for Neilson Stanton & Parkinson
before forming Connolly Dore Lawyers. Ben
now lives in Gympie with his wife Amanda
and their three children. |

| Ann-Louise
Connolly BA LLB admitted as a solicitor of the
Supreme Court of Queensland in 1988
Michael’s
wife, Ann-Louise Connolly, is an associate of
the firm. She originally hails from Brisbane where
her family operates the business Brisbane Ice
Sales and other business interests including hotels
and property development.
Ann-Louise
worked in a large Brisbane law firm for five years
before moving to Gympie in 1989. In 1994 she ceased
practice to raise a family, during which time
she spent five years as president of the Alma
Street Community Pre-School and Kindergarten.
In 2004, Ann-Louise recommenced practice as a
solicitor. |
